Rolando Fourcand
Rolando Fourcand is a veteran, advocate, A licensed Florida real estate agent, and dedicated ally to individuals with disabilities, neurodiverse individuals, veterans, and others working toward meaningful employment, greater independence, and a renewed sense of purpose. For Rolando, this work is more than a profession it is personal. As someone who also lives with disabilities, he understands that life does not always follow the path we originally imagined. There can be setbacks, uncertainty, unexpected transitions, and moments when the next step is not always clear.
Those experiences have helped shape his belief that people should be met where they are, treated with dignity, and reminded that their circumstances do not define their potential. “I know firsthand that life can change the plan, but that doesn’t mean it has to end the journey.”
Since 2015, Rolando has provided individualized vocational and employment support to people navigating some of those very transitions. His approach is centered on listening first, understanding the whole person, and helping individuals identify their strengths, possibilities, and next steps. He believes that meaningful progress looks different for everyone and that sometimes success begins simply with having someone believe there is still a path forward.
Before entering vocational services and advocacy, Rolando spent nearly 20 years in many facets of the security industry and nearly a decade serving in the Army National Guard. These experiences taught him the importance of service, accountability, perseverance, adaptability, and remaining committed even when circumstances change.
Rolando holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Life Coaching and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. His continued education reflects his desire to better understand and support the emotional, vocational, and personal challenges people may encounter throughout their lives.
His work now extends across vocational services, disability advocacy, employment support, real estate, and counseling education. Although these areas may appear different, Rolando sees a common thread connecting them: helping people move from where they are toward where they hope to be.
Whether someone is returning to work, adjusting to a disability, pursuing greater financial independence, searching for a home, rebuilding after a setback, or simply trying to determine what comes next, Rolando believes the journey deserves patience, compassion, and respect. He does not believe that every path is easy or predictable. He does believe that challenges can become part of a person's story without becoming the end of it.
One verse that reflects his perspective on life's journey is Proverbs 16:9: “In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” Rolando strives to carry that perspective into his work each day—recognizing that we may not always know exactly where the road will lead, but we can continue moving forward with faith, purpose, perseverance, and hope.
